Marty-the-man

Thanks to so many people (Special Envoy Cynthia Wang, Brooklyn journalist Wendy Ponte, Brooklyn connectors Louise Crawford, Debra Garcia and Deborah Brill), we had our first celebrity visit at the Wafels & Dinges truck last Saturday!
Marty Markowitz, the Brooklyn borough president, came by to say hi and hear what the waffle-fuzz was all about. We had a waffle, a good laugh and off he went to his next destination.

This all started when Cynthia Wang (our Special Brooklyn Envoy) suggested we should have some Brooklyn celebrities coming by the truck. So, if you happen to have those celebrity connections, tell them what they're missing and send them down.
Going forward, every Saturday at 7th Avenue and Carroll Street - that's right. Every Saturday.
