At Wafels & Dinges we're big into "good things belgian". And by that we mean more than wafels, dinges, moules et frites, pralines and Duvel. We mean...much more.
Take for instance the "Ronde van Vlaanderen", or the Tour de Flanders. In the cycling world, it's one of the biggest "classics" races of the early cycling season leading up to the Tour de France. It's gruelling, spectacular, strategic, often miserably rainy, with a billion impossible cobblestones and muddy ditches for the racers to dive into.
For as long as I've lived in New York, I never had a chance to watch it. But this year we've got a viewing party at BXL cafe on W43rd.
Some come on down. We're sponsoring with wafels! And there will be many more belgian dinges .

Dang! I was looking for a place to watch the Tour of Flanders. Wish I had checked the waffle blog sooner. Maybe next year.
