Time for something new?

Remember the good old days, when there used to be passwords that would get you free toppings at the Wafels & Dinges truck? Oh lordy lord...where are the days?
Those days are back! We're going to make it a little easier this time, maybe the new password is even googleable. Here we go.
The new password is:
He's a Belgian sports figure and goes by "Sir", after being awarded knighthood by the King of Belgium. He has won more than 140 European and world titles. In 2001, exactly 38 years and 22 days after his first World Championship, at the age of 64, he became World Champion yet again. We are not looking for the name of this person, but we're looking for the name of the sport he played.
