Does the Navy need to wafel more? We think so.

When I take of my hat of Belgian Special Envoy for Wafels to NYC after work, I'm still wearing another hat underneath: the one of New Yorker and US citizen (since '08). It's Fleetweek and it's one of those few times where we are reminded that our little comfortable lives here in NYC are only possible because of the very real work of our military man and woman all over the world. Their sacrifice and work is selfless, courageous and mightily important to this country. Period.
But, I think there is something missing in our Military. There is too much decisiveness, too much determination, too much plain boldness with these guys. This has lead to serious, both chronic and acute, lack of wafeling. Our military, and especially the Navy, needs more wafeling. Now! We have to take the wafeling shortage in our own hands and help them!
Therefore, and hereby: Wafels & Dinges wants to help the wafeling along and we're going to give a 2 for 1 deal to all Navy men & women who come by our cart at the South Street Seaport (corner of Fulton & Front), or by the truck. And yes, if there's any civilians out there who feel the urge to go rent a Navy custom, by all means. We won't ask you which new missile is used to protect ships from attacking missiles and aircraft, and is designed to counter supersonic maneuvering anti-ship missiles, and has a larger, more powerful rocket motor for increased range, a different aerodynamic layout for improved agility, and the latest missile guidance technology compared to the RIM-7 Sea Sparrow (the answer of course, is the RIM-162 Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile (ESSM), as if you didn't know that!)
